Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival in Thimphu
Welcome to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city. It is about a 2-hour drive from Bhutan's Paro International Airport. Prepare to discover Thimphu's delights after freshening up.
We will take you to the major attractions of Thimphu, such as the Buddha Dordenma Statue (the world's largest Buddha statue), Tashichho Dzong (Thimphu's fortified and largest religious structure), and the Memorial Chorten, a beautiful Buddhist shrine with a gold spire built in memory of Bhutan's third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. We will drive you back to the hotel after you have finished sightseeing. Stay the night in Thimphu at a hotel.
DAY 02: Thimphu to Paro
After breakfast, check out of your Thimphu accommodation and our driver will drive you to Paro. It is a lovely valley town in Bhutan that is well-known for its religious sites. Bhutan's only international airport is located at Paro. It is both one of the most difficult and beautiful airports in the world. When you arrive in Paro. Later, travel to this gorgeous valley and its outstanding sites, including Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Paro, which has around 3000 relics going back to 1500 years, and Paro Dzong. The rest of the day is free. Visit the Paro Dzong, a well-known Buddhist monastery and fortification. It is regarded as one of Bhutan's best examples of architecture. Return to your hotel room. DAY 3: Sightseeing in Paro
After a great breakfast, get ready to explore Paro. We will take you to some of the top Paro sites, such as the Kyichu Lhakhang, an old temple in Bhutan that attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Visit a local farmhouse to interact with the locals and see their way of life. And perhaps try some homemade wine.
Visit the renowned Taktsang Lhakhang or the Tiger's Nest, both of which are must-see attractions in Paro. This monastery has remarkable architecture and is located in an isolated place.
